My website’s new section on 401(k) recommendations is drawing quite a bit of attention, and that makes me very happy. I want every employee in America to have access to historically best funds offered by their company. But offerings and funds change and information can become obsolete quickly. To keep you up to date, I need your help. If you see a change in the funds or errors on my site, please drop me an email.
Every time we add, make a change or update fund information, it will be posted at the bottom of the current newsletter. See below for our first updates.
With much to consider regarding 401(k) education, Rich Buck and I have begun a series of MarketWatch Articles, the first of which is: “7 fatal flaws in America’s 401(k) plans.”
On Sunday Sept 21 at 9:30am ET / 6:30am PT, you can tune in to a radio interview on How to make the most of your 401(k) that I’ll be giving on The “Financial Quarterback” show. You can hear it a few different ways. In the New York City area, tune to 710 AM. You can stream the show live at wor710.com, by clicking on the listen live tab at the top of the screen. And if you have a smart phone, you can download theiHeartRadio app and search for 710 WOR and listen from anywhere there’s a data signal.
This is the last mention of the workshop I’ll be presenting Saturday Sept. 20, 9:45am -12:45pm on Mercer Island, “Live It Up Without Outliving Your Money!” If you have a child or friend who could use help to invest from now to retirement and beyond, I hope you’ll encourage them to attend. Click here for details.
Thank you, as always, for being part of – and spreading the word about – The Merriman Financial Education Foundation’s mission to provide, “comprehensive financial education to investors, with information and tools to make informed decisions in their own best interest and successfully implement their retirement savings program.”
To your success,
